Fastrack annonces new version of leading selling Windows based Home Health care Software.
Plainview, NY…To accommodate the company’s’ rapid growth, Fastrack announced the expansion of its’ office space and the addition of new personnel. At the same time the company released version 2.1 of the Fastrack HME & Infusion/Pharmacy Enterprise for Windows system, which
features a Microsoft SQL database.
The seven new employees include Infusion/Pharmacy reimbursement specialists to support the IV module that is integrated with Fastrack
HME, in the Enterprise version. In addition, staff was added to quality assurance, documentation, technical support and development
programming.
Fastrack is actively recruiting additional personnel in all of these areas as well as senior sales personnel for several locations throughout the U.S. To accommodate new staff that the company plans to continue to add over the next twelve months, Fastrack has acquired additional space increasing the office size by 25%.
The new release of the Fastrack Enterprise system, version 2.1, provides over a hundred new features and reports. A key feature added at the
request of clients is the ability to have drop down windows that are user defined for rapid entry of data in the patient and product fields. These windows are attached to custom fields that Fastrack supplies allowing the client to create their own field names to capture data unique to their needs. With the Crystal Report Writer the client can create reports with this information. These fields which can be pre set to accept only dates, alpha, numeric, alpha/numeric entry, etc., are used most often for capturing clinical and marketing information.
Another marketing tool added to the system allows for sorting mailing labels by patient birth date, age, and patient group (i.e.- infusion, diabetic,
respiratory, etc.) for targeting mailings to specific patients. Multiple groups can be set up for each patient.
To further automate the billing and accounts receivable process, Fastrack has made it possible for the user to simply click on the right button on the mouse and change the payer for the patient, especially useful in cases where
it turns out the Provider had out dated insurance information.
In other news, Fastrack has started providing clients with access to the new on-line web based Help Desk. This allows for the input of request and tickets by logging into the Fastrack Help Desk system or by sending an email. A significant benefit is the 24/7 access to the company knowledge base, which allows the user to search for answers to procedural questions on various topics from Medicare billing to hardware issues.
